FESTIVAL RECAP :

City of Angels Women's Film Festival elevated women in entertainment during its 3rd annual celebration hosted in Hollywood. Dee Wallace,  Charles Burnett and Padmini Kolhapure were honored as 2022 Angel Award Recipients. We also launched the female empowerment multi media award this year. COAWFF chose 88 Official Selections  (65 films/shorts and 24 written word pieces). The festival hosted nine exclusive panel guest speakers this year to almost sold out attendance at the Whitefire Theatre in Sherman Oaks. Our Red Carpet Awards Gala was a sold out smash success with a Stand Up Comedy performance by Sarah Taylor, Getty Images, DJ, an extraordinary magician and more as guests enjoyed complimentary champagne and hors d'oeuvres catered by our five star chef at the Beautiful Bella Blanca Event Centre in North Hollywood. Nominated Official Selections and VIP guests cheered and applauded in support of COAWFF honorees, and the 2022 festival in an unforgettable evening of celebration.
